Consultation for Therapists

Support for new and early-career clinicians navigating trauma work, burnout, and the emotional demands of being a therapist.

Beginning your work as a therapist can be deeply meaningful — and at times overwhelming.

Many clinicians carry the responsibility of holding space for others while quietly navigating self-doubt, emotional exhaustion, and the pressure to always “get it right.”

Consultation offers a supportive space to pause, reflect on your clinical work, and strengthen both your confidence and steadiness as a therapist.

This space is especially supportive for graduate students, interns, and early-career clinicians who want thoughtful guidance as they grow in their clinical work.

Group Consultation

A consultation group for therapists and interns is currently in development.

This group will offer a supportive space for clinicians to reflect on their clinical work, discuss challenges that arise in trauma therapy, and explore ways of sustaining themselves in the work.

Topics may include:

  • Navigating imposter syndrome as a clinician

  • Preventing burnout and compassion fatigue

  • Trauma-informed case consultation

  • Therapist nervous system regulation

  • Building confidence in early clinical work

The group will likely meet monthly or biweekly virtually and will be open to therapists located anywhere.

If you’re interested in joining when the group launches, you’re welcome to join the interest list below.

Consultation services are educational and collaborative in nature and do not replace clinical supervision for licensure. Consultation sessions do not count toward licensure hours, and the consultant does not assume responsibility for client care decisions.

Being a therapist is meaningful work — and it is also work that deserves support.

Consultation offers space to slow down, reflect, and develop a steadier foundation for the work you care deeply about.
