Meet Your Therapist

Celeste Celaya, MC, LPC

I created Wholehearted Counseling to offer women and helping professionals a space that feels grounded, compassionate, and deeply human. So many of us move through life carrying responsibility, grief, and pressure in silence. Therapy can be a place where you are supported, understood, and gently guided back to yourself.

“You don’t need to become someone new — you get to come home to who you’ve always been.”

My Approach to Therapy

My work is trauma-informed and integrative, rooted in compassion and respect for the whole person. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand. Together, we explore both the experiences that shaped you and the strengths that can support your growth.

I draw from person-centered therapy, strengths-based and compassion-focused approaches, and incorporate somatic techniques or EMDR when helpful. Somatic work allows us to gently notice how stress and emotion show up in your body, helping you build greater awareness, regulation, and steadiness in daily life. EMDR can be used for processing difficult experiences, strengthening confidence, shifting negative core beliefs, or building internal resources such as calm and stability — but it is always optional and tailored to your goals.

Therapy with me is collaborative and paced with care. Whether we focus on insight, practical tools, trauma healing, or life transitions, our work is shaped around what feels supportive and meaningful for you.

Clinical Experience

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Arizona State University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona. I am trained in EMDR, parts work, and somatic-based interventions.

I have worked in community mental health and private practice settings working mostly with teen and adult women navigating complex trauma, grief, anxiety, and life transitions, to name a few.

As a clinical supervisor, I am focused on creating a space to support growing therapists in developing their clinical voice and confidence. My approach to supervision is collaborative, growth-oriented, and focused on supporting therapist well-being in the long-term.

I am especially passionate about supporting emerging clinicians as they transition from training into practice. Early-career therapists often carry immense responsibility while quietly navigating self-doubt and pressure behind the scenes. I believe clinicians deserve spaces that prioritize steadiness, self-trust, and sustainable growth.

If you’re curious about working together, you’re welcome to schedule a consultation so we can talk about what you’re looking for and whether the fit feels right.

Therapy works best when you feel understood and supported.
