Private Pay and Out-of-Network Benefits
Wholehearted Counseling is a private-pay practice and is not in network with insurance companies. However, your insurance plan may include out-of-network benefits that allow you to receive partial reimbursement for therapy services.
Payment of the full session fee is due at the time of service. I can provide you with a monthly superbill, which is an itemized receipt containing the information your insurance company may require when you submit a claim for reimbursement.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies based on your insurance provider, plan, deductible, and coverage. I recommend contacting your insurance company directly using the number on the back of your insurance card to verify your benefits before beginning services.

FAQs
What services do you offer?
I offer individual therapy for women, therapeutic yoga groups, educational workshops, and consultation services for therapists. You can learn more about each service by visiting the Services page.
How do I get started?
You can reach out via the contact form, email, or scheduling link. Once we connect, we’ll schedule a brief consultation where we can talk about your goals, explore whether my approach is right for you, and answer any questions you have. From there, if we determine we are a good fit we will schedule our initial therapy session.
What makes you different?
Many of the women I work with are insightful and self-aware—they often understand why they feel the way they do, yet still find themselves stuck in the same patterns. My approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy by incorporating mind-body approaches such as EMDR, Somatic Therapy, and Therapeutic Yoga.
Together, we'll explore not only your thoughts and experiences, but also how they show up in your body, relationships, and daily life. The goal is to create meaningful, lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms.
Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?
I currently offer telehealth sessions for those located within the state of Arizona, which means you can access therapy from wherever you feel safe and comfortable.
Telehealth is secure, HIPAA-compliant, and designed to provide the same supportive and effective experience as in-person therapy.
Do you take insurance?
At this time, I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. However, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.
Private pay therapy allows for a more personalized treatment experience, giving us the flexibility to focus on your goals rather than insurance requirements. Many clients value the added privacy, flexibility, and ability to choose a therapist who feels like the right fit for their needs.
What are your fees?
My standard fee for a 50-minute individual therapy session is $150. Initial intake sessions are also $150.
90-minute sessions are offered at $210 for EMDR sessions or when clinically appropriate.
Group therapy and workshop prices will vary, see the Services page for more details.
Do you offer reduced-fee sessions?
Yes. I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Reduced-fee rates are determined based on factors such as income, financial responsibilities, and overall circumstances. Because availability is limited, reduced-fee sessions cannot be guaranteed. If cost is a concern, I encourage you to reach out to discuss available options.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept all major credit and debit cards, including HSA and FSA cards. Payment is processed securely through the client portal and is due at the time of service.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many of the women I work with are highly capable and successful, yet find themselves feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from themselves, or repeating patterns they want to change.
Therapy may be a good fit if you're looking for support, greater self-understanding, healthier coping strategies, or a space to focus on your own needs and well-being. If you're unsure, a free consultation can help you determine whether therapy feels like the right next step.
