Starting Therapy: What to Know
-
My approach is integrative, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I draw from person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed therapy, and may incorporate somatic techniques, parts work, or EMDR when helpful.
I don’t see myself as someone who “fixes” you. Therapy is a partnership where we explore patterns, build insight, and strengthen your capacity for lasting change.
-
I support women and helping professionals navigating:
Trauma and painful past experiences
Anxiety, chronic stress, and overthinking
Depression and low mood
Burnout and compassion fatigue
Self-esteem challenges and negative core beliefs
Relationship patterns and boundary struggles
Major life transitions and identity shifts
Therapy is collaborative and tailored to you. If your concern isn’t listed here, we can explore it together and determine whether this is a good fit.
-
Sessions are a safe, nonjudgmental space where we work at a pace that feels supportive to you. Depending on your needs, we may talk through experiences, practice body-based or grounding exercises, or use EMDR to process trauma. Each session is tailored to your goals and comfort level.
-
Healing is a journey, not a quick fix, so it varies for each person. Some clients notice meaningful shifts within a few months, while others benefit from longer-term work. I focus on helping you build lasting tools and connection with yourself, rather than rushing toward a timeline.
-
I currently offer fully telehealth sessions for those located within the state of Arizona, which means you can access therapy from wherever you feel safe and comfortable. Telehealth is secure, HIPAA-compliant, and designed to provide the same supportive and effective experience as in-person therapy.

Private pay therapy offers greater flexibility, privacy, and personalization in your care. Because treatment is not dictated by insurance requirements, we can focus fully on your unique goals rather than a diagnosis or limited number of sessions. This often allows for deeper, more individualized work and the freedom to move at a pace that feels supportive to you.
Private pay also gives you more control over your treatment experience, including the ability to choose a therapist who feels like the right fit, rather than being limited to an insurance network. Many clients value the added confidentiality, flexibility, and investment in care that is tailored specifically to their needs.

Item descriptionYou can reach out via the contact form, email, or scheduling link. Once we connect, we’ll schedule a brief consultation where we can talk about your goals, explore whether my approach is right for you, and answer any questions you have. From there, if we determine we are a good fit we will schedule our initial therapy session.
